Lots of Girls and Lots of Good-byes

Tuesday Night-

My Mops friends are right, it is a great journey our family is on, and our path is the "One" God has laid.  Isn't this wall hanging the sweetest gift?  I am so looking forward to finding the perfect place for this "Journey" wall hanging, in our new home!

My sweet friend Billie Jo stopped over during the day of our Mops dinner to drop off a thoughtful gift that I will keep forever, and am wearing in this picture!  It is a Lake Erie, beach glass necklace with U of M colored beads, made by an Etsy artist.  Thank you BJ.  I will miss you!!!

My dear friend Kelly put together the sweetest California themed package for the kids to enjoy on our VERY long drive to San Diego.  She also had all the girls at the table fill in an address book, then gave it to me with stamps, note cards and a list of Bible scriptures that will definitely come in handy!  Yes, the tears jerked!!

I have had such good times with these MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) mommy friends.  I will definitely miss these girls tons, and am hoping they save a seat for me, for when I fly in from SD for a GNO dinner!

Wednesday Night-

I was lucky enough to have a little Joe's Crab Shack reunion at a little Mexican restaurant in the middle of nowhere the day after my Mops dinner!  It was a little nutty to have two dinners back to back, but I am so cherishing these last few moments I have here, before we drive to our new home!  Heather and Sarah have been good friends for years; we have many good memories together.

Heather surprised me a few days prior by stopping by our very large moving sale!  I looked up, and she was just standing there!  She said she was going to just see how long it would take for me to notice her!  Hey, I was pretty distracted, I will admit!  Thank you Heather #1, for your patience, love and support!

I am so lucky that Sarah is a flight attendant and is going to be visiting often!  She is very cultured and from the moment she heard about our move, has been very supportive, commenting that our family will fit in just perfectly in SD.  I must say that I agree!

I was so blessed by having this special opportunity to spend wonderful quality time with my dear friends over the course of these two days.
